Directors Daniel Stukel Beasly and Tobhiyah Stone Feller bring a unique combination of skills across architecture, art, costume and set design to each project. Their focus on movement and the performative aspects of human environments – public, theatrical and domestic – gives Stukel Stone’s work an elegant rigour that’s expressive, innovative and inclusive.

Meet the team

Daniel Stukel Beasly
BArch (Hons 1) (UNSW)   RAIA

Daniel is a registered architect with a decade of professional experience  across commercial, residential and cultural buildings. A graduate from UNSW  with first class honours, 2005. That same year he joined PTW Architects where he earned a senior role on the team designing a major extension to the National Gallery of Australia. His responsibilities included: facades, structure and high performance internal glazing. Daniel also had the extraordinary opportunity to realise a significant permanent artwork by the USA artist James Turrell, ‘Within Without’. Other experiences while at PTW Architects include master planning, townhouse and multi-residential apartment design as a Project Architect.

Daniel Beasly Architecture was his first practice for four years as an independent architect prior to co-founding Stukel Stone with Tobhiyah Stone Feller in 2014. His approach focuses strongly on conceptual and material integrity to design work that has enduring function and significance. Themes of his work include the science and control of natural/artificial light. As well as being in private practice Daniel is a regular academic at UTS, School of Architecture (Since 2012).


Tobhiyah Stone Feller
BDA (Design) (NIDA)
Co-founder and former Co-Director

Tobhiyah is a Sydney based designer for the Stage. She graduated from NIDA in 2005 and previously attended the College of Fine Arts UNSW, where she studied ‘Sculpture, Performance and Installation’. Tobhiyah has worked as an independent theatre designer since 2005 and in January 2014 officially combined resources and design methodology with Daniel Beasly as Stukel Stone. Tobhiyah endeavours to approach design with an abstract, evocative and transformative eye. Tobhiyah has worked with exceptional directors and choreographers including; Anthony Skuse, Fraser Corfield, Kate Gaul, Sally Blackwood, Anca Frankenhaeuser, Mark Kilmurry, Tanya Goldberg, Sue Healey and Ian Sinclair.

Professional credits include Set & Costume Design; Replay (Griffin), Good People, My Zinc BedBlood Bank, Blue/Orange and Clybourne Park (Ensemble), Parramatta Girls (Riverside Productions),  Orphee Aux EnfersDaisy Bates at Ooldea (Sydney Conservatorium of Music), Variant  (Performing Lines), Human Resources (Siren Theatre Co.), My Name is SUD (Blacktown Arts Centre), Anna Robi and the House of Dogs (Tamarama Rock Surfers), and  A View of Concrete (B Sharp). As Co-chair for Emerging Designers APDG, Australian Production Designers GuildTobhiyah endeavours to  improve career pathways for graduate stage and screen designers.


Natarsha Tezcan

Interior Designer

Natarsha joined Stukel Stone as a contractor in 2017, contributing her expertise on interior and Architectural projects. After graduating from B. Interior Architecture at UNSW in 2014 with first class honours, Natarsha undertook a design research internship investigating the future of academia. Natarsha has experience across large scale cultural and residential architectural projects as well as heritage and interior fit outs. Natarsha tutors in design studio for Interior Architecture at UNSW.

Jarrod Tremayne Phillips
BDes Arch UTS
Architectural Assistant

Master of Architecture student at the University of Technology Sydney. Commencing his career as an apprentice fire services technician, he is a qualified building designer and has a keen eye for detail. Jarrod is also an experienced BIM user having taught ArchiCAD at the Open Training and Education Network (OTEN). Jarrod applies is eye for detail and technical expertise to construction documentation for commercial and residential projects.

Jeff  Taplin Tighe

Architectural Assistant

Currently in Denmark on exchange, Jeff is a Masters of architecture student at UTS. Jeff is a vital member of the team –  contributing knowledge of current digital fabrication processes. A consummate model maker both in the physical and digital realm, Jeff is also a fine composer of form and graphics. He has been with Stukel Stone as an Architectural Assistant since January 2015.

Stukel Stone invest in the current industry leading Building Information Modelling design and documentation software ‘ArchiCAD’ by Graphisoft.
